You also have endless access to more TV channel apps, all the same apps you can download on your phone as well as high graphic games. There are also plenty of free services already installed that give you hundreds of free live TV channels, movies, TV shows and games. What does BOEY SYSTEM include?
The BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME comes with everything you need, including an HDMI cable to hook to your TV. We offer couple different packages which includes different accessories to meet your needs.
What is streaming?
When you watch a video on your smartphone or a movie on your laptop, the signal is sent over the internet to your home modem and then to your wireless router which brodcasts the signal to your device (smartphone, laptop, BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME, etc.) where it is converted to video and audio. This process of delivering media content over the internet is known as streaming.
Streaming lets you watch video or listen to music “on-demand” which means watch or listen whenever you want without waiting for a show or music to be broadcast or downloaded.
What type of BOEY SYSTEM streaming devices are available?
There are currently two BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers, one the BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME is for adults & Kids, two the BOEY SYSTEM Kids Addition is for kids.
Just like your smartphone has an “app store” for installing new applications, you can access the Google Play Store and other stores on your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME to add new “channels/TV apps”. Channels/TV apps are applications for your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREM to watch on your TV, popular channels include Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, VUDU and HBO GO and so many more.
Do I have to pay for TV apps & channels?
Although some channels must be purchased or require a paid subscription, many others allow you to watch movies and TV shows for Free.
Which TV Apps can I watch movies and TV shows?
There are many TV apps that offer Free & Paid movies and TV shows including popular choices like Netflix, Google Play, Vudu, Fandango NOW, Hulu, Crackle, Pluto and many more.
Can I watch live or local TV?
Yes, with our BOEY SYSTEM Antenna, you can get Free live local broadcast channels including ABC, NBC, FOX, PBS and many more. What channels you get will depend on your area and what is available, however most areas will have 15+ live air channels for free!
There are TV App live broadcast channels like ABC, NBC, CBS, HGTV and Fox. In addition, some cable/satellite companies are creating streaming channels that allow you to access all or most of the channels you get through your cable subscription without having a separate cable box (e.g. Spectrum TV, Comcast Xfinity, DIRECTV NOW).
There are also plenty of TV Apps like Sling that gives you access to all your favorite premium channels for as low as $20/month. Plust many more TV apps that have free live TV, Shows, Documentaries, Movies and more!
Are there sports channels?
Yes, there are lots of sports channels to choose from including NFL, MLB.TV, NBA, NHL, MLS, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, fubo TV, Watch ESPN, Fite, and FOX Sports GO and more. Plus Health, Fitness and Yoga channels. Major sporting events including championship games and tournaments are streamed live as well. With our Antenna you can also watch the games live on Sunday on your local broadcast channels, like ABC, NBC, FOX, etc., for free!
Are there channels that allow me to listen to music?
Yes, major music services like Pandora, Spotify, Vevo, and iHeart Radio all offer streaming channels.
What other channels are available?
The Google Play Store, Amazon Prime and Aptoid offers thousands of channels with a wide variety of content. You can also find channels offering News, Weather and International events, or find Travel, Religious Educational and Kids & Family channels. You can even find channels that offer Shopping, Photo Apps, Themes, Screen Savers, Personal Media, Games and more.
Yes, you get access to stream 100’s of free live TV channels, TV shows, movies, documentaries, games and so much more. You can use our BOEY SYSTEM HDTV Antenna to even get free local broadcast channels like ABC, NBC, FOX, PBS and many more.
What are Streaming channels?

What are Broadcast channels?
Depending on where you live, you may be able to receive free “over-the-air” TV broadcasts from nearby TV stations using our BOEY SYSTEM HDTV Antenna. You generally can get up to 15+ channels absolutely free. Everything from your local news, TV shows, movies, sports and more.
Yes, most channels that offer subscriptions or paid content are ad-free, for example Netflix, Amazon Video, HBO Now and Showtime. However, some paid subscription channels also have ads, for example Hulu and Sling TV. Free channels are often known to have some ads. there are also some free channels that have no ads such as PBS.
Yes, many of the movies and TV shows available with your cable or satellite subscription can be accessed and watched on your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME using subscription based TV apps. Some premium channel TV apps require you to have a cable or satellite subscription.
Yes, you can view your favorite movies and shows with closed captioning when the service provider includes closed captions with their content.
What are closed captions?
When activated, closed captioning (abbreviated CC) displays the spoken elements, background noises, and sound effects of a movie or program as text on your TV screen. These captions provide an important connection to entertainment and news for individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. Closed captions are also useful when dialogue is difficult to understand, or when the volume cannot be turned up too loud.
Closed captions are available only when the service provider (e.g., Netflix, Hulu, etc.,) includes them with their content. Check with the service provider for information about the availability of closed captions.
How do I turn on closed captions?
Sometimes on the video player you will (CC) which is closed captions.
Generally TV apps will have this option in their settings menu.

Yes, when a BOEY SYSTEM HDTV Antenna is connected to your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME, there are several TV Menu Guide apps that offer a menu channel guide.
Here are couple examples: AirTV, TV Guide, and Fan TV App.
Your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME gives you access to stream movies and TV shows over the internet and has a bigger built-in storage then most boxes on the market, however we do not recommend recording directly to the device. You can use the built-in storage to download files and content or an external USB flash drive. We provide you with a top notch file manager called ES File Explorer to transfer and manage files with ease. You also have the option to use a SD card to store files on the BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME.
You can schedule and store recordings to a content provider’s online storage center if their streaming channel offers a cloud DVR feature.
Some channels that offer this feature with a paid subscription include DirecTV NOW, Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, fuboTV Premiere, and Philo.
What is cloud DVR?
Cloud DVR (Digital Video Recorder) allows you to schedule the recording of a program airing on a streaming channel, and play the content back at a later time convenient to you. It is a software feature that is part of the streaming channel and does not require you to purchase or connect any additional devices. Recordings are stored in a streaming channel’s data center and accessed over the internet by your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME when you choose to view the program.
Each streaming channel with cloud DVR offers different subscription levels with varying limits on storage and the number of shows that can be recorded at one time. You can inquire with the content provider for more details.
Yes absolutely! The BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME is like a mini computer. You can browse the internet with ease using the already installed Google Chrome browser. You can also use Fire Fox along with other browsers that are available to download on Google Play Store and Aptoide. Check all your social sites, emails, etc., the web is your domain!
Keep in mind that when browsing the internet, be careful of the sites you visit. Just like browsing on your a computer or a smart phone, you can get viruses. so make sure the sites that you visit are safe. The same goes with files or apps you download, make sure they are safe. We are not responsible for any viruses you pick up, nor does warranty cover it.
However if you do get a virus on your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME, we do offer a service to make your entertainment center brand new again, just ship it to us and we can fix it for a flat fee. You just pay 2 way shipping. Contact us for more.
Yes, we offer the BOEY SYSTEM Voice Remote. While speaking naturally you can perform voice commands as well as voice search making navigating the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers easy and effortless.
Yes, absolutely! You can even rent movies in high resolution that are currently in theaters in the comfort of your own home for a fraction of what it cost to go to the theaters. We offer Vudu in the BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME, you can rent and buy new and old movies. They also offer free movies to watch as well. There are other movie apps like Fandango that are very similar, you can download at Google Play Store or other stores.
While Kodi is perfectly legal, it has been under fire for some time now do to 3rd party add-ons breaking copyright and piracy laws. Columbia Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Disney, 20th Century Fox Film, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Netflix and Amazon have been working getting fully loaded kodi box sellers shut down.
So we decided to not install Kodi (that does not include 3rd party addons,) in our BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers.
Our customers can install kodi from Google Play Store. Those who want “One Click Install Kodi” apps that offer builds, you can also search for them on Google Play Store.
Yes, the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers offer 4K output. In order to watch content in tue 4K, the content your watching needs to be 4k or higher as well as your TV needs to be a 4K TV. There are TV apps that offer TV shows and movies in 4K.
The term “4K” is generic, and refers to any resolution with a horizontal pixel count of approximately 4000 pixels. Several different 4K resolutions have been standardized by various organizations.
4K resolution, also called 4K, refers to a horizontal screen display resolution in the order of 4,000 pixels. There are several different 4K resolutions in the fields of digital television and digital cinematography. In television and consumer media, 3840 × 2160 (4K UHD) is the dominant 4K standard. In the movie projection industry, 4096 × 2160 (DCI 4K) is the dominant 4K standard.
As their names imply, 4K UHD has a considerably higher resolution than 1080P HD video. 4K resolution is exactly 3840 x 2160 pixels, whilst 1080P consists of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Getting Started with your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME.
The BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME and our BOEY SYSTEM Kids Addition Entertainment Centers all require high-speed internet to function efficiently.
If you already have high-speed internet and multiple family members are going to stream content on multiple devices at once in your home, make sure your internet package is good enough to stream multiple devices at once. With our experience using 100mps high-speed internet, we have seen up to 4 devices stream at once with no problem. So keep this in mind when watching the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers, your internet might not handle multiple devices at once depending on the speed you have.
Your internet provider will let you know which package they offer that can handle multiple devices at once if needed. Streaming includes watching videos and listening to music. Even website loading times can have an impact on your internet if others are streaming.
BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers can perform well with most home broadband services like DSL, fiber or cable internet. Movies and TV shows streamed in higher picture quality formats like 4K UltraHd or 4K HDR require even higher internet speeds. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for details about the available services in your area.
We do not recommend using mobile hotspots considering they are generally not as reliable as home broadband.
TV apps like Netflix, Hulu, ABC, NBC, etc., all have their minimum requirements for internet speed when streaming their content. You can visit their sites for more info.
Should I leave my BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME Connected to the Internet?
The BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers are designed to remain connected to the internet. A permanent internet connection is recommended. When you hit the power button on the BOEY remote, the system goes to sleep and will remain connected to the internet. If you unplug the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Center, once plugging it back in, the interment connection will automatically reconnect.
What about bandwidth caps?
To stream movies and TV shows, your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME must download data from channel providers like Netflix and YouTube. If you plan to stream often, or you plan to stream higher picture quality content, your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME must download larger amounts of data. Some ISPs have a limit, or a bandwidth cap, on the amount of data you can download in a given period of time before you incur additional fees. Contact your ISP to understand any applicable bandwidth caps.
Most customers that already have high-speed internet, this generally isn’t a problem.
Internet speeds when I travel with my BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME?
Many travel destinations provide access to the internet, but some may limit the speed of the connection. A slow internet connection may cause video playback issues when streaming. We suggest you contact your destination before traveling and ask about the internet services they offer. Some locations offer a high-speed solution for a fee.
The BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers come with everything you need, HDMI cable, power cords and charging plugs. The Game-pad and Keyboard have rechargeable batteries. You will want to get 2 triple A batteries for the small remote control. That is it, you are good to go!
If you have a long distance from the TV to where your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME is going to be placed, then you might need a longer HDMI cable. We recommend a good quality High Speed HDMI Cable for video and audio.
The BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers are designed to connect to your home wireless network the same way that you connect your home computer or smartphone. The BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers also have an Ethernet port so you can plugin your internet cord directly into the box. This is the most fastest efficient way to connect. Wifi will work perfectly fine, just make sure you have a good signal strength where ever your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME is located.
Other benefits to plugging directly in with an Ethernet port?
To avoid potential playback issues, you may want to consider using your Ethernet port if:
- You live in an area where there are a lot of devices broadcasting wireless signals such as an apartment building.
- Your wireless network has a weak signal or limited range.
- Your BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME is conveniently located in your home near a wired network connection.
The BOEY SYSTEM requires a HDMI input on the back of your TV to connect. This HDMI port is a single cable and transfers high quality video and sound to the the TV.
The BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers include an HDMI cable. However, if you are placing your BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Center a long distance from the TV, you will want to purchase a longer HDMI cable. We recommend purchasing a high quality HDMI cable if you are utilizing 4k video with a 4k TV.
If your TV does offer HDMI inputs, but all the inputs are already being used, there are “HDMI hubs” available that you can purchase online from stores like Fry’s Electronics and Walmart. You can connect an HDMI hub into one of your HDMI ports and it will give you an additional 3 or 4 HDMI inputs for your TV.
If you do not have HDMI ports on your TV, you can purchase a “HDMI to VGA Adapter” or a “HDMI to RGB Adapter” depending upon what inputs your TV offers.
If you take advantage of all the free TV apps in the BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME & Kids Console, as well as access to the 1000’s of free movies, shows, games, apps, TV apps, etc., available on Google Play Store, Amazon Video and other channels, there are no fees or contracts, it’s totally free!
There are only fees associated if you choose to watch TV apps that are a paid service. The BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME & Kids Console have the best of both worlds, giving you even more entertainment options.
The BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME & KIDS CONSOLE are very easy to setup. We not only provide extra directions and tips for each accessory that comes with the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers, but we also offer an extensive support page that gives you videos on how to, and loads of tips and tricks as well as do’s and Don’ts.
The only way to get charged a monthly subscription is if you set up with a paid service like sling, where you can get all your favorite live channels for as low as $20/month. There are plenty of paid services as well as plenty of free services, the choice yours.
If you do not want to purchase another BOEY SYSTEM Extreme to have in a separate room, simply move the BOEY SYSTEM EXTREME into the other room. It is only 2 connections and once powered up, it automatically reconnects to your WiFi and your back to watching your favorite content.
The BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers have an input for audio out. If you use this method, the audio can pass-through to an audio/video receiver (AVR) or another device that is capable of decoding surround sound.
The BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers send audio through the HDMI cable to the TV. Some customers just hook the TV up to the surround sound, this way all the devices that are plugged into the TV inputs, the sound automatically plays through the stereo system.

Yes, if you have an android smart phone or Apple Iphone, you can control the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers using our installed CetusPlay which turns your phone into a remote control.
Yes, the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers have a 3.5mm jack input for headphones that have a cord. You can also use wireless Bluetooth headphones since the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers have Bluetooth capability.
Yes, we have Miracast in all our BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers, which allow you to mirror content from your phone to the TV. Example: View all your photos from your phone on your TV allowing you to share with family and friends.
Yes, the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers can use 2 Gamepads at the same time for 2 player games. The Gamepads are wireless and can connect using Bluetooth.
Make sure the games you play are Gamepad compatible. There are lot’s of android games now that are Gamepad compatible.
Yes, you can use any keyboard or mouse with the BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers. The BOEY SYSTEM Entertainment Centers are like mini computers, they have 2 USB ports to plug in a USB dongle.
